EXPLANATION
A folio is a unique identification number assigned to an investor by an AMC, similar to a bank account number. An investor can hold multiple schemes of the same AMC under one folio. Each AMC assigns a separate folio, so an investor with schemes in 5 AMCs would have 5 folios.
