What is a Gilt Fund?
0% of students got this wrong
EXPLANATION
A Gilt Fund invests exclusively in government securities (G-Secs) issued by the central and/or state governments. Since G-Secs have sovereign backing, they carry zero credit risk. However, Gilt Funds carry significant interest rate risk — their NAV is sensitive to changes in interest rates.
