What is 'demat holding' of mutual fund units and how does it differ from 'statement of account' mode?
0% of students got this wrong
EXPLANATION
Mutual fund units can be held in two modes: (1) Demat mode — units are held in a demat account with NSDL or CDSL (like shares), visible in a single demat statement; or (2) Statement of account mode — units are held in the AMC/RTA's records and the investor receives account statements. Both modes are equally valid; most investors use statement mode.
