EXPLANATION
The B-30 initiative aims to increase mutual fund penetration beyond the top 30 cities (T-30) which dominate industry AUM. SEBI incentivised B-30 inflows by allowing AMCs to charge additional TER (0.30%) on B-30 inflows, with distributors receiving higher trail for mobilising these flows.
