What is the 'life stage' approach to asset allocation in mutual fund investing?
0% of students got this wrong
EXPLANATION
The life stage approach adjusts asset allocation as the investor ages. Young investors with long time horizons can afford high equity allocation (for growth). As retirement approaches, equity is gradually reduced and debt increased to preserve capital. A common thumb rule: equity % = 100 minus age.
