What is the Scheme Information Document (SID) and when must it be updated?

EXPLANATION
The SID is the primary legal document detailing scheme features, investment objective, risks, and other key information. It must be updated when there are changes to fundamental attributes (requiring SEBI approval) or at minimum annually. All updates must be filed with SEBI.
