What does the 'benchmark' disclosed in the SID represent?
0% of students got this wrong
EXPLANATION
The benchmark disclosed in the SID is the standard index (e.g., Nifty 50 TRI for large cap funds) against which scheme performance will be measured. SEBI mandates that benchmarks be appropriate for the scheme's investment mandate. Since 2018, SEBI requires Total Return Index (TRI) benchmarks which include dividends.
