What is a 'Scheme Information Document Addendum'?

EXPLANATION
An SID Addendum is a document issued by the AMC to communicate specific changes to an existing SID — such as changes to exit load, fund manager, expense ratio, or other non-fundamental details. The addendum is annexed to the SID and becomes part of the offer document. It is more efficient than reissuing the entire SID for minor updates.
