EXPLANATION
SEBI regulations permit equity mutual fund schemes to invest up to 10% of NAV in unlisted equity and equity-related instruments. This restriction is disclosed in the SID under investment restrictions. Unlisted securities carry higher liquidity risk since they cannot be easily sold on stock exchanges.
