What is the 'portfolio disclosure' requirement for mutual fund schemes?

EXPLANATION
SEBI requires AMCs to disclose the complete scheme portfolio (names of all securities, quantities, market values, and percentage of NAV) on their website within 10 days of each month-end. Half-yearly portfolio disclosures must also be published in newspapers. This enables investors to monitor what the fund actually holds.
