What is the 'minimum redemption amount' and how is it applied?

0% of students got this wrong

EXPLANATION

Minimum redemption amounts are scheme-specific and disclosed in the SID. Typically ₹1,000 or 100 units, whichever is lower. Key rule: if a partial redemption would leave a balance below the scheme's minimum holding requirement, the AMC may redeem the entire remaining balance rather than process a partial redemption. This prevents tiny residual balances.
