Ch.11 · Comparing Fund Performance · hard
What does 'modified duration' in a debt fund fact sheet measure?
0% of students got this wrong
EXPLANATION
Modified duration measures interest rate sensitivity. A modified duration of 4 years means the fund's NAV will fall approximately 4% if interest rates rise by 1%, and rise approximately 4% if rates fall by 1%. Higher modified duration = higher interest rate risk.
