Passlane is a brand operated by Tectonic Edusystems Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 and registered with the Registrar of Companies, Delhi ("Company", "we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it. It applies to all users of passlane.in.

We do not collect Aadhaar, PAN, bank account details, or government ID numbers. Payment card details are handled entirely by Razorpay and are never transmitted to or stored on Passlane servers.

- To send transactional emails (OTP, payment confirmation, coin expiry warnings)
- To send study reminders and re-engagement communications (opt out anytime)
- To improve the platform through usage analytics
- To comply with applicable legal obligations
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Third-Party Services
Tectonic Edusystems Private Limited uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Supabase — database and authentication (servers in Mumbai, India)
- Razorpay — payment processing
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Twilio — WhatsApp OTP delivery
- Vercel — platform hosting
- Google Analytics (GA4) — anonymous usage analytics
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure hosted in Mumbai, India. We implement industry-standard security measures including row-level security (RLS), encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), and role-based access controls.
No method of electronic transmission is 100% secure. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law.
6. Cookies
Passlane uses session cookies for authentication and analytics cookies (via GA4) for understanding platform usage. Analytics cookies collect anonymous, aggregated data and do not personally identify you. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect platform functionality.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Opt out of marketing and reminder communications at any time

8. Children's Privacy
Passlane is intended for adults (18+) pursuing professional certifications. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has registered, contact us and we will delete the account promptly.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
