Refund Policy

Passlane is a brand operated by Tectonic Edusystems Private Limited. We offer digital exam preparation content — question banks, mock tests, and performance analytics. Because access to this content is granted immediately upon payment, our refund policy reflects the nature of digital goods while remaining fair to our users.

Short version: We offer a full refund within 24 hours of purchase if you have not accessed the paid content. If the platform is inaccessible for more than 48 continuous hours due to a fault on our end, you are entitled to a full refund regardless of access.

2. How to Request a Refund

Email support@passlane.in with the subject line "Refund Request — [your registered email]". Include:

We will acknowledge your request within 1 business day and process eligible refunds within 5–7 business days. Refunds are credited to the original payment method.

3. Why We Have a 24-Hour Window

Unlike physical products, digital content is consumed instantly and cannot be returned. We offer a 24-hour window as a good-faith measure for cases where a user changes their mind before accessing the content. Once paid content — question banks, chapter practice, mock tests — has been accessed, the digital good has been delivered.

We strongly recommend using the free tier (no payment required) before purchasing to ensure the platform meets your needs.

4. Technical Failures

If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing paid content, contact us at support@passlane.in. We will resolve the issue within 48 hours or issue a full refund at your choice. This applies to platform-side failures only — not issues caused by your device, browser, or internet connection.

5. Payment Failures

If your payment was debited but you did not receive access, your money may be held by the payment gateway pending reconciliation. Email us immediately at support@passlane.in with your Razorpay payment ID. We will investigate and either grant access or initiate a refund within 2 business days.

6. Chargebacks

If you believe a transaction was unauthorised, please contact us before initiating a chargeback through your bank — we can resolve most issues faster directly. Accounts subject to fraudulent chargebacks may be suspended.
